What did you, or do you, like most about school?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 06, 2009:
Mrs. Bronstein, Mr. Christmas,
Paul and Lyon
made my days.
Mr. Bean, those with
no imaginations
I endured
with my daze.
The pot, the music,
the school cop,
we were loud,
proud, and
all mixed up.
The war in 'Nam,
the SDS,
memories
of 1968.
We preached free
love,
and demonstrated
some hate.
It wasn't easy then,
a bit like now,
with all the goings on
we ask ourselves
how
we will change all this.
Back then we thought
we knew.
How silly we were.
We moved out to a farm,
and the work was true,
and harder than
we thought.
Magical thinking.
Eight Miles high,
now dropping fast.
Inner disarmament
is where it's at.
I still study,
read a lot,
I have a teacher,
or ten.
I find that what I
like now is what I
liked then.
